Saturday, September 11, 2004 - Brief Reflection On 9.11.01

I don't know what to write. I am not eloquent enough to recapture the sadness and anger of this terrible event. My sympathy goes out to those still suffering from the loss of loved ones on that day. My admiration goes to the brave soldiers in the Middle East, no matter what I feel about our country's presence there. My concern goes out to my mother, my sister, and her family, who are in the skies this day. I know my fears are irrational, but they will always be a part of me.

Perhaps, someday, humanity will look at history and wonder how things like this could ever happen. I hope so.
